Ballet and Tap Combination

• Tuesday 4:15 - 5:00 (NP)
• Wednesday 4:45 - 5:30 (DM)
• Saturday 10:15 - 11:00 (DMarino)

This class gives the student a combination of ballet and tap.  The main emphasis is on ballet as it is 30 to 35 minutes of the class.           The remaining 10 to 15 minutes is tap introduction in which rhythm and counting are re-emphasized with a different type of music and movement. All ballet instruction is taught with classical music emphasizing Russian ballet technique concepts taught with age appropriate lessons. More emphasis is given in this age level on feet and arm positions as well as classical movement, terminology and ballet stretching.

This class is an excellent, yet fun introduction to the Elementary Division of the school.
