The Dance Center | Payment Schedule

All tuition at The Dance Center is based on a l0-month season of classes and payments will be due the first lesson of every month. Our dance season will begin Thursday, September 4th, 2008 and end on Saturday, June 20, 2009. This season includes a long, 5-week month or a short, 3-week month. It also includes the end of the year Student Recital and all dress rehearsals. Tuition is the same set price each month regardless of the circumstances mentioned above. No pro-rating will be done for missed classes or for students who start mid-month. Snow closings are for the safety of our families and faculty. If the studio is closed due to bad weather conditions, it is the responsibility of the families to make-up the missed class(es). Again, we will not pro-rate or deduct single class fees for studio closings of any kind.

For your convenience, we have divided the total cost into l0 equal monthly payments as listed below. The September payment is due at the time of registration, along with a $25 Registration Fee per family. Students may take their make-up classes within a 6-week time frame around the missed class. Make-up classes are the responsibility of the family whenever the studio is closed. Make-up classes may be taken in any other class of his/her level or a class level below. No formal notification of make-up classes is necessary. It is the responsibility of the families to keep track. Again, make-up classes may be taken before or after the missed class within a 6-week time frame.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no such thing as taking a month off, and there will be no deductions or refunds for lessons missed, regardless of the reason. Your position in class is reserved for you whether you attend or not, therefore consistent and equal payments must be made each month regardless of your attendance or absenteeism. TUITION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Should it become necessary to discontinue classes for any reason, you must notify the office in person or by phone. You are financially responsible for tuition payments up to the time such a call or visit is made in our office. POSITIVELY NO DEDUCTIONS, REFUNDS, OR TRANSFER OF TUITION will be made for lessons missed.

** You will not be billed monthly for your tuition; please bring your payment into the office on the first lesson of each month.

** A late fee of $5.00 will be applied to tuition not received by the l0th of the month.

** A $20 fee will be applied for any checks returned by the bank for any reason.

** All students, both former and new, must register either in person or by mail and fill out a Registration Form
